Bitrue, a cryptocurrency exchange platform, has announced that it has identified a brief exploit in one of its hot wallets on April 14th, 2023 at 07:18 UTC. The company was able to quickly address the matter and prevent further exploitation of funds. Bitrue has stated that it takes the matter seriously and is currently investigating the situation.
According to the announcement on Bitrue’s Twitter account, the attackers were able to withdraw assets worth approximately 23M USD in ETH, QNT, GALA, SHIB, HOT, and MATIC.
