Block & Chill Nairobi Sets the Stage for Africa Blockchain Festival 2026 x World Token Summit 4.0

NAIROBI, KENYA – On 13 August we took over a Nairobi rooftop for Block & Chill — the global mixer on the road to Africa Blockchain Festival 2026 x World Token Summit 4.0. Three hours of drinks, music, and unfiltered conversation with the founders, investors, developers, fintech operators, and policymakers building Africa’s blockchain economy.

No panels. No pitch decks. Just the ecosystem in one room, two months out from the main event.

Hosted at the upscale Alloy Bar & Lounge on the 6th floor of Westlands’ Sarit Centre, the invite-only mixer provided a high-energy backdrop for the region’s top Web3 minds to connect. The venue’s panoramic outdoor terrace offered an ideal setting for authentic networking, conveniently located right at the footprint of where the upcoming October mega-event will take place.

The Nairobi mixer served as the official launchpad and warm-up for the Africa Blockchain Festival 2026 x World Token Summit 4.0, scheduled to run from October 15 to 17 at the Sarit Expo Centre. Operating under this year’s ambitious theme, “Capital, Code, and Continuity: Building Africa’s Permanent Digital Economy,” the three-day main event is dedicated to the intersection of AI, blockchain infrastructure, and digital finance.

As the Block & Chill global roadshow continues to build momentum across international cities with more African cities on the calendar during August as well as Dubai and Lisbon in September, the focus remains squarely on stripping away the corporate formalities to drive real-world partnerships and channel institutional capital into the African Web3 ecosystem.
