However, the affected hot wallet only holds less than 5% of the platform’s overall funds. The rest of the wallets remain secure and have not been compromised.
As a precautionary measure, Bitrue will temporarily suspend all withdrawals and reopen withdrawals on April 18th, 2023. The company has asked for its users’ understanding and patience at this time. Additionally, all identified users who are affected by this incident will be compensated in full.
