Crypto tracker, Coin Metrics said on Friday that Bitcoin reached the highest level since 2021.
The tracker said that the Bitcoin coin was trading at $26,521.13.
Similarly, Ethereum rose by 2.5% to $1,722.50 and is on pace for its best week since August 2021.
According to Bitcoin.com, “ETH/USD hit a high of $1,766.55 earlier in today’s session, which comes less than 24 hours after hitting a bottom at $1,644.54.
“The move saw the world’s second-largest cryptocurrency move past a recent price ceiling at $1,720.
“Prices kept climbing even as stocks fell Friday, as traders digested the future of Credit Suisse. The bank’s fate continued to weigh on investors even after the embattled lender said it will borrow up to 50 billion Swiss francs ($54 billion) from the Swiss National Bank,” CNBC added.
