Coinbase Expands Services For Brazilian Customers

Cryptocurrency Exchange, Coinbase says it has integrated Pix, the instant payment platform of the Central Bank of Brazil for customers in the area.

 

Nana Murugesan, vice president of international at Coinbase, who stated this in a statement issued in this regard said that the development aims to further facilitate Brazilians’ access to the crypto economy and financial freedom.

 

“Brazil is a key market for Coinbase’s international expansion strategy. We are committed to investing in and developing products tailored to the needs of the Brazilian market, as we recognize the immense potential and growth opportunities in the region,”

 

 

This initiative allows users in Brazil to add and withdraw money from their Coinbase account using Real.

 

The firm added that its app has been fully updated to Portuguese, and “support is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week”
