Lawrence Lim, director of business development at IOST, and co-founder of EOI Digital, and Amadeo Brands, a board member of BlockDevsAsia (IOST Node), mentored participants who needed technical and business support to form part of the judging panel. Look for promising blockchain projects coming from hacker tones.
“Lawrence and Amadeo are happy to receive a strong participant interest in IOST development, receiving numerous requests for setting up an IOST wallet and coding smart contracts from current developers. As most developers choose coding in IOST or Ethereum for platform selection, I’m happy that IOST has taken another step to increase developer awareness and adoption through a national-level blockchain hacker tone backed by government agencies.”
National Blockchain Challenge Day 3: Demo Day!
Through a number of excellent applications, the Jury’s fabric has been given a variety of presentations and demonstrations, and finally, five finalists on the last day of Hackathon have been made available to the public, with high attendance and turnout.
Before the start of the demonstration day, the audience oversaw the national technology development and initiatives in discussions with invited speakers, including successful technology entrepreneurs and technology leaders at GovTech Singapore.
Demo Day kicked off presentations and demonstrations of a team of six finalists, covering dazzling areas across AI technology, cybersecurity, blockchain tokenomics design and implementation, and zero knowledge proof privacy layer of the proposed solution.
The IOST was selected by numerous teams, including Gabriel Lau, the youngest finalist on Demo Day.
We are glad that IOST is recognized as the blockchain platform of choice for both novice and professional developers!
Three winners from Hackaton appeared, sharing a prize with prizes worth more than SGD3,000.
- A blockbuster team that uses blockchain to develop test beds that can stress cyber-physical national security testing (cyber physics security refers to the security of technological systems, the backbone of physical state assets such as water supply).
- Patron Collections team, who created authentic Tokenomics designs and prototypes to support their original digital assets to their sponsors;
- The freelance hub has created a unique token platform that will enhance collaboration in the modern performing economy and reduce friction between businesses and freelancers.
After successfully completing the National Blockchain Challenge: Season 1, IOST congratulates all hacker tone teams and will continue to raise awareness among developers about the benefits of building an IOST blockchain and improve public awareness and adoption
“We welcome more developers and companies who want to build blockchain solutions to participate in the ecosystem, and the IOST Foundation can provide a variety of business resources, including technical support, marketing support, partnerships and networking opportunities, to successfully launch blockchain projects,” added Lawrence.
