THE IMPACT OF BLOCKCHAIN IN THE HEALTH CARE SECTOR
An interview session of coinewsextra with Talisha Shine to explain the application of block chain technology on the healthcare system and the future of healthcare system with blockchain technology.

Talisha Shine is an experienced and qualified digital health professional, who is also a Certified Blockchain expert and Consultant. She has combined nearly 20-25 years of Information Technology software support experience, Bachelors of Science in Computer Information systems, and Master of Business Administration to give a wide range perspective on all things Blockchain. Talisha is an inner circle member of Black Blockchain Consultants and also serves as the Vice President of Blockchain Consortium International, a blockchain consulting company. She is also the CEO of NETTs TECHNOLOGY, LLC an healthtech company that has just been selected as one of the 10 finalists for INNOVATIONS CITY Women of color Pitch Competition.

WHAT IS DIGITAL HEALTH CARE?
Digital health is the convergence of digital technologies with health, healthcare, living and society to make medicine more personalized and precise and to enhance the efficiency of healthcare delivery. The healthcare system is a loaded system which contains data that needs to be transferred through different providers, payers and the patient information which is not feasible in this time.
HOW BLOCKCHAIN TECHNOLOGY CAN BE APPLIED IN THE HEALTH SECTOR?
Blockchain technology can be applied in many different areas to improve and make the healthcare sector effective. It helps in credentialing, which is one of the simplest way to make sure the nurses, doctors and other health care providers to be really qualified to practise especially in the United States.
When asked, Talisha said: “It is one of the easy verification tools that can be leverage to blockchain”.
Blockchain technology can also be applied to the procurement system, as suppliers chain are broken which do not allow drugs and healthcare hardware to be disseminated efficiently to hospitals and everyone required.
Talisha said: “ During this COVID”19 breakout, there is a breakdown in the PPE(personal protective equipment) and we are making sure we get the drugs and any healthcare hardware that we need to each and everyone of the hospitals, so the procurement aspects, drug administration also needs that insured availability of drugs since we need to import and export certain things to ourselves, this is where Blockchain technology is highly needed”.
THE FUTURE OF THE HEALTHCARE SECTOR WITH THE APPLICATION OF BLOCK CHAIN TECHNOLOGY.
The healthcare system needs to improve and be worked upon since there are new and improved technology, like Blockchain at the forefront which can change and efficiently improve the system. There are so many things that the healthcare system needs like Immunibility, Protection and the transport of drugs and Health hardwares to the hospitals.
Talisha said: “We need a new health care system because there are many things needed at the same time, so the Blockchain technology can help to provide all of those things in a safest manner”.
When asked by coinnewsextra how she is coping as a lady both in the health sector, as a digital healthcare professional and in Blockchain technology, as a Certified Blockchain expert and Consultant, as she is now recognized among the Top 100 Black Leaders in Blockchain. she said: “Being a resource which I figured is a very important thing and being able to look into the problems critically and to say something with regards to how the pieces fits is what I try to show up and do everyday”.
