Pan-African Tech Foundation holds its second Emerging Technologies Bootcamp in North Africa

ThePan-African Tech Foundation (PATF) an independent, not-for-profit, non-governmental organization, established to provide education, legal, regulatory and technological support in the establishment and implementation of emerging technologies will host its second virtual training boot camp on May 29th, 2021 for its North Africa Hub.

The mission of the PATF is “Transforming Africa Through Technology” and as such it will host training boot camps, masterclasses, and conferences across Africa to train young people on blockchain, technology, and entrepreneurship. PATF has strategically positioned it’s sub-regional hubs in, Central Africa, East Africa, North Africa, Southern Africa and, West Africa.

 

The PATF North Africa emerging technologies boot camp will be the second of the subregional hub events and it will be held under the theme “Entrepreneurship in the era of digital transformation in North Africa”. The boot camp will target young people in Algeria, Egypt, Morocco, Sudan and Tunisia that are between the ages of 13 to 35 and essentially for anyone who is keen to learn more about emerging technologies and connect with like-minded changemakers from across Africa. Wiam Fahim the leader of the PATF North Africa hub will be running the program and shared that “Today, entrepreneurship and new technologies are the best choices to make in a world constantly changing. Choosing both sets is even better! Making this choice means opting for a global and sustainable performance able to put innovation at the heart of our strategy”. The agenda of the day will include training on blockchain technology and artificial intelligence, panel discussions on “Changing economic paradigms through technology” and “What is big data and how has it become essential to our daily lives?”. The speakers of the day will be industry experts from across North Africa.

PATF was founded by Elaine Bannerman, a Lawyer, Entrepreneur, Pan-Africanist, who is passionate about building a Pan-African Fintech and Blockchain ecosystem.
