The new exchange on the block, NaijaCrypto, a free trade exchange in Nigeria, has in an interview with Ekene Ezeala from CoinNewsExtra, disclosed the current state of the the exchange and its future plans.

According to Chiagozie Iwu, the CEO of Ci Crypto Solutions, the founders of NaijaCrypto, the cryptocurrency exchange has been in existence for three-four months and has a customer-base of five hundred users.

Although their mobile is just a month old, it has a record of seventy users and counting.

ABOUT LISTING MORE COINS

Any coin to be listed on the exchange must be linked to a project and the board must believe that it has a proper use-case. The first ten coins according to market capitalization will soon be listed, Iwu said’

Mr Dozie said that FlashCoin is the first external coin to be listed on their platform because it has a proper use-case and the listing will help spread Flash technology across Nigeria and get more merchants to Flash and NajiaCrypto too.

HOW SECURE IS NAIJACRYPTO?

In line with the hacks on exchanges this year, Cryptopia being a major example, Chiagozie Iwu had this to say about the security of the platform:
