Yabx, a fintech startup with Indian ownership based in the Netherlands, has announced its entry into the Nigerian market with the goal of democratising credit throughout the nation with its digital lending products.
Yabx creates a full financial identity of consumers and helps banks insure them over Yabx Loan origination and Lifecycle Management System by using Big Data Analytics and AI/ML algorithms on vast amounts of alternative data.
With the use of this system, Yabx hopes to introduce the market to cutting-edge fintech products and solutions while bridging the gap between Nigeria’s banks and new-to-credit segments on a large scale.
The bank’s own digital banking app, a USSD channel, a website, or even embedded options in other apps can all be used for this customer acquisition and maintenance.
By utilising its fintech platform, Yabx has teamed up with many African banks to build sizable, scalable, and lucrative digital lending portfolios.
Yabx will not only assist banks in broadening the scope of services they provide to their customers, but will also enable them to launch new and innovative products like Buy Now Pay Later, Personal Loans, Payday Loans, MSME Loans, etc. Banks in Nigeria have generally struggled to underwrite their customers effectively.
