Some stakeholders in India’s Blockchain Technology Industry have constituted a forum, in a bid to create a synergy between players and regulators.
The forum tagged the ‘India Blockchain Forum’ was created to enhance the adoption of Web3 technologies.
The forum constitutes over 40 players who have been saddled with the responsibility of liaising with governments and regulators for blockchain and Web 3.0 adoption in the country.
The forum would enhance collaboration between players in the industry and stakeholders in various research institutions in the country, in a bid to enhance the growth of Web3.
It was also learned that the forum wants to open membership to stakeholders as it seeks to create the world’s largest Web3 community.
India Blockchain Forum(IBF) is intending to build community chapters across India.
Other targets of the forum include better education and access to the best global best crypto practices.
Commenting on the development, Principal Secretary, Industry & Commerce, and Information Technology, Govt of Telangana, Jayesh Ranjan said “This sandbox will help create meaningful dialogue among all the stakeholders, including regulators, start-ups, and policy-makers to arrive at a nuanced approach to evolving an effective Web3 framework.
“IBF will also have several Special Interest Groups (SIGs) to take care of areas like CBDC, Metaverse, Policy framework, and NFTs for blockchain and Web3.0 adoption. More than 40 crypto influencers are a part of this forum,” he said.
