London, UK, April 12th – The Pan-African Tech Foundation (PATF) an independent, not-for-profit, non-governmental organization, established to provide education, legal, regulatory and technological support in the establishment and implementation of emerging technologies will host its first virtual training boot camp on April 30th, 2021 for it’s Southern Africa Hub. The mission of the PATF is Transforming Africa Through Technology and as such it will host training boot camps, masterclasses, and conferences across Africa to train young people on blockchain, technology, and entrepreneurship. PATF has sub-regional hubs in Southern Africa, Central Africa, West Africa, East Africa, and North Africa.
The PATF Southern Africa training boot camp will be the first of the sub regional hub events and it will be held under the theme “Leave no African Behind”. The training will target young people between the ages of 13 to 35 and is for anyone who is keen to learn more about emerging technologies and connect with like-minded change makers from across Africa. Chrystal Mushonga the leader of the PATF Southern Africa hub will be running the program alongside Nicky Verd the PATF country rep for South Africa. The agenda of the day will include training on blockchain technology, How to become a techpreneur without technical skills, and Energy Tech – Solutions that scale to name a few. The speakers of the day will be industry experts from across Southern Africa.
PATF was founded by Elaine Bannerman, a Lawyer, Entrepreneur, Pan-Africanist, who is passionate about building a Pan-African Fintech and Blockchain ecosystem.
