GITAC ORGANIZED A BUSINESS SUMMIT AS A NETWORKING OPPORTUNITY FOR AFRICAN INNOVATORS

The Ghana India Trade Advisory Chamber (GITAC) which is an organization established to promote and enhance trade, investment and cultural interactions between Ghana and India, organized the biggest business summit ever tagged “BUSINESS EXPLOSION 2021” that brought together prominent personalities, as a networking opportunity for African innovators.

GITAC consisting of members from the various sectors: Mining, Trade, Financial Services, Real Estate and Construction, Energy, Health, Legal Services, Hospitality, Engineering, Agro Processing, Manufacturing, Import and Export Services, ICT, Education and Airline and Shipping services, has over 19 countries representation.

GITAC which is a subsidiary of the Global Africa Trade Advisory Chamber (GATAC) organized the business summit in a beautiful part of Africa, precisely Labidi Beach Hotel, Accra,Ghana.

The event had in attendance key and prominent personalities alongside amazing entrepreneurs including the likes of  Hon Alan Kwadwo Kyeremanteng (Minister of trade and industry), Hon Osei Kyei Mensah-bonsu (Minister of Parliamentary affairs and majority leader), Hon Freda Prempeh ( Minister of State for Works and Housing), Saadia Lakehal (Founder and CEO, Emperia industry connect), Mr Shile Bam (RedVille Group CEO), Veronica Andrino (Founder and President, Infinity Integrated Solutions LTD) and Lisa McShine (Managing partner of ROC Citizenship), amongst others, and of course the president of GITAC, Dominic Oduro Antwi.

Speaking in an interview at the end of the event with a blockchain and cryptocurrency online station, CNETV, the president of GITAC expressed joy for the success and great turn out of the event. He therefore said

the business summit was aimed to bring business tycoons together in furtherance to creating a networking opportunity, adding that networking can never be qualified or valued, as it is priceless.

Dominic however said the organization GITAC which acts as a mediator between the private sector and the government is opened for more membership and partnership.

He further added that GITAC is moving focus from Ghana and India to the African continent and global space at large, with it’s headquarter in Dubai.

Meanwhile, the managing partner of ROC citizenship, Lisa McShine also speaking to a CNETV, revealed that this was her second time in attendance for the GITAC business summit. She therefore said GITAC event has always been a success, adding that she is looking forward to be in attendance of the next year summit.

McShine also said she believes in information and education as the key innovation success, and that is why her company is interested in the African continent to educate them on the innovating development happening as technology advances.

She however added that ROC is looking at Nigeria and Kenya at the moment.

Meanwhile, the second Vice President of Ghana National Chamber of Commerce and Industry, concluded that BUSINESS EXPLOSION 2021, was indeed an explosion with amazing networking opportunity that was met.
