FinTech Association of Nigeria (FinTechNGR), a non-political organisation for Financial Technologies in Nigeria and a founding member of Africa FinTech Network has announced the second edition of its International Webinar, which is scheduled to hold by 11:00am on Tuesday, June 29.
The FinTechNGR International Webinar will bring together keynote speakers and regulators from across the globe such as John Rolle (Governor, Central Bank of Bahamas), Serey Chea (Assistant Governor, National Bank of Cambodia), Christian Catalini (Co-Creator of Diem), Sopnendu Mohanty (Chief Fintech Officer, Monetary Authority of Singapore), Carmelle Cadet (Founder & CEO of EMTECH) and our very own Abubakar Suleiman (CEO of Sterling Bank).
The programme which is tagged “CBDC & Cross Border Payment: Interoperability, Technology & Regulation”, seeks to explore the state of CBDC in Bahamas and Cambodia and how African countries can adapt and position CBDC as a solution to addressing cross-border payment challenges across the continent.
It is worthy to note that the first edition in 2020 featured over 700 attendees from all continents.
