Small businesses can reach their full potential in the country if they can be able to access technology for their businesses.
The Federal Government of Nigeria has been asked to facilitate technological innovations for Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises, MSME to accelerate their growth in the country.
The Stakeholders stated this at an innovative enterprise exhibition and seminar organized by the Junior Chamber International (JCI).
The seminar which was held in Lagos was convened with the theme, “The impact of technology on small-medium size enterprise in Nigeria”.
In his remarks, a FinTech and digital economy researcher, Mr Kola Osinowo said small businesses can reach their full potential in the country if they can be able to access technology for their businesses.
Osinowo said that in countries where small businesses have embraced technology, they (MSMEs) have contributed immensely to the growth of their economies.
He stressed the role of the Government in establishing the infrastructures and noted that some technological tools can only be adopted by small business owners if the government provides the infrastructure.
