A FinTech company operating in Latin America has announced the expansion of its operations to Africa.
EBANX, which earlier operated in 15 countries across Latin America, said it will provide mobile money services to customers in Kenya, Nigeria, and South Africa.
The company in a statement said that it has handled about $1 billion worth of transactions since its inception.
According to the company’s CEO, Joo Del Valle, the African continent provides numerous untapped potentials which EBANX seeks to tap.
