Africa4Future 2020 Unveils Startups in accelerator programs at Virtual Showcase

Africa4Future 2020 Unveils Startups in accelerator programs at Virtual Showcase#Africa4Future2020 on Thursday, June 11th, 2020 discloses ten newest African companies in its virtual showcase programme.

The third edition of the Africa4Future unveils ten newest African companies from the programme using remote sensing technology (satellite imagery) to address the food insecurity and infrastructure deficit challenges across the continent.

The programme is a joint accelerator programme by Airbus Bizlab, Make-IT in Africa UP42 and developed by German agency for International Cooperation and implemented by Co-creation Hub (CcHUB).

The purpose of the programme is to bring together investors, corporate executives and stakeholders from all around the world to interact with solutions that are creating new benchmarks agricultural issues which includes but not limited to access to finance for farmers, post-harvest losses, infrastructure and improving productivity for livestock farmers.

The 10 African startups are from 7 countries, namely; AgriEdge, Agrorite, Crop2Cash, DMM.HeHe, Epinec, Fastagger, Flamingo Foods, GrowForMe, RuralFarmers Hub and XY Analytics originating from Ghana, Morocco, Nigeria, Kenya, Rwanda, South Africa and Tanzania.

The accelerator is designed to last for3-month long programme with a Proof of Concept (POC) at the end of the programme.
